I'll get back to writing about copywriting, writing and more soon. But for now I just want to point you to two articles I wrote: The first I wrote just hours after I found out that I lost one of the most important mentors in my life.
I have been writing, editing and proofreading for Hamodia—known as "The Daily Newspaper of Torah Jewry."
A few hours after I heard that Rabbi Mendel Weinbach passed away, they called and asked me to write a tribute.
My first reaction was, "I can't do it."
They urged me to write it, and the result was "Why I Can't Write About Reb Mendel Weinbach, zt"l"
Then they wanted a longer profile piece—which led to "Because It Hurts--Still Crying for Reb Mendel Weinbach."
Rather than repeat myself, please see the articles. For those of you not familiar with the vernacular of Jewish English, I wrote a short Glossary of Hebrew and Yiddish phrases in the articles. You can get it here.
I'll be back again soon with more thoughts and tips on writing and marketing.
Be well. Be successful....
